Shen Tao Studio was founded to help dancers, athletes, teachers and anyone looking to cultivate the deep connection between the cognitive mind and the neuro-muscular system, and to use that connection to develop their own individual gifts. With a unique, personalized approach, Shen Tao Studio assists individuals in learning how to help themselves and others.
Location:
The studio is located on the NE corner of 23rd and Park Avenue S. The intimate yet state-of-the-art studio accommodates nine students at a time, allowing for individual attention and personalized classes.

Room Rental
For those individuals interested in studying at Shen Tao Studio for more than a single day, we offer a per/night rental arrangement for a quiet private room located here at our school.
We are located in a central, safe, convenient area of Manhattan; very close to public transportation; raw, vegan and vegetarian, sushi restaurants, shopping, and the lovely Madison Square Park.

Our Treatment Room has the cleanliness, efficiency, and convenience of a professional workspace, with all the comforting touches of a home. The room is elegantly furnished, spacious, and quiet, and is perfect for massage, acupuncture, counseling, etc.

Rent a workstation
Shen Tao Studio offers “Rent a Workstation“for those interested in teaching others, or for Independent Study.
Work Stations include:
The Ladder with Weight Track, Bench, Stool, Calf Stretcher, Rolling Cart, Trampoline, Swivels, and all of the additional accessories listed under Equipment.
We believe that solo training and teaching others are two necessary steps in the process of becoming your own master, and developing your own understanding of the Shen Tao Approach.
$20 for up to 3 hours
