BALLET CONDITIONING

The class structure begins with a Barre a Terre series followed by a standing ballet bar (both using our state-of-the-art training equipment for greater strengthenhanced coordination, and improved flexibility).

A center section offers non-traditional training exercises as an alternate approach to mastering classical technique.

The class culminates with an extended stretching/tractioning section which will leave your joints and muscles feeling deliciously open and ready to dance!

In addition to improved coordination, and strength we offer you the Shen Tao Approach, a map for how to most effectively organize your attention for training to dance. All of this in service of a more powerful body, a more efficient mind, and a more expressive soul!

An emphasis is placed on opening blocked musculature, coordinating joint function, strengthening muscle tissue, and tractioning joints.

By deepening your experimental understanding of these principles while using our equipment, you will learn the art of applying them to the process of rehearsal and stage performance, and your approach to teaching.

Video feedback will be essential part of this training.

Class is limited to total of 10 participants.
