Skinny Mini
design
The Skinny Mini is designed for the use of personal trainers, massage therapists, and all movement practitioners who work one-on-one to assist clients in expanding their range of motion. It is intended to be used as an extra set of hands to assist practitioners in the lengthening of muscles and the tractioning of the clients’ joints. Unlike the Mobile or Wall Mount Mini, the Skinny Mini has only a single weight and pulley track. It is intended to be the most affordable cable system in the catalog.
1st gen skinny mini
The frame is fabricated from TIG-welded 6061 aluminum tubing. The woodwork is made from North American red oak, sanded to 220 grits, and finished with a spray-on lacquer. The bearings are sealed, the pulleys are made from marine sailing hardware, and the ropes and straps are sourced from the rock climbing industry. 2nd gen skinny mini
The vertical components of the frame are fabricated from 1.5” North American red oak dowel, and the horizontal supports are made from 3” oak cylinders. They are joined using exclusively dowel joinery techniques. The woodwork is sanded on a lathe to 600 grits and finished with two coats of hand-rubbed Osmo Polyx-Oil. The bearings are sealed, the pulleys are made from marine sailing hardware, and the ropes
and straps are sourced from the rock-climbing industry.
