Mentoring

All movement arts, and training methods have a lineage that involves mentors passing down their life experience/insights/wisdom from generation to generation.

Many of us who were privileged to receive support/mentoring during our professional development, mature to the degree where we are called upon, in our turn to mentor the next generation.

To serve on either side of the mentoring relationship is both a privilege, and an honor.

Regardless of your preferred movement practice(s), methodologies, or training system(s), I offer my services as a mentor and consultant to support you in the development and evolution of your work.

I offer my expertise in the fields of Bio-Mechanics, Exercise Physiology, Physical Conditioning, Bodywork, Neuro-Linguistic-Programing, Hypnosis, Pilates, Dance, Meditation, Yoga, equipment design, as well as my support for the development, and maturation of your own unique body of knowledge.

The privilege of being mentored is essential for the maturation, and development of an aspiring Movement Educator, but this relationship is also by definition meant to be just a stage in the students journey.

Student-mentor relationships are meant to evolve, and transition as the student discovers their own unique voice and approach to their respective movement discipline(s).

At this point, the mentor-mentee relationship transitions into one of peers, where knowledge and discoveries are shared, as both individuals continue to refine their insights, perspectives, and wisdom.
